I hope you enjoy this gallery of photos for THE PUMA YEARS. These images were all taken at Sanctuary Ambue Ari, one of three wildlife sanctuaries run by the Bolivian NGO Comunidad Inti Wara Yassi (CIWY). All the animals live at Ambue Ari because they cannot be released, due to their past traumas. Wild animals are not pets. Wherever possible, they should live in their own habitats with their own species.
